Andy Jacques-Maynes(Cal. Giant Inc./Specialized) remains undefeated during 2012 Cyclocross after surviving a tough test from hard charging Scott Chapin(Bicycle Blue Book/HRS/Rock Lobster) at CCCX Manzanita Park. Aaron Bradford((Bicycle Blue Book/HRS/Rock Lobster) returns to NOR-CAL Cross with fine third place behind AJM & Chapin.
Karen Brems(Team Rambuski Law) discovers excellent form and goes solo for win against a very strong Elite Women's field at CCCX. Second on the day was Kerry Barnholt-Bonar who made a stellar return to podium and out-duels Ellen Sherril((Bicycle Blue Book/HRS/Rock Lobster) who was forced to settle for third.
Hometown star Max Jenkins(Folsom Bikes) claimed top honors at the 1st annual El Dorado Hills CX event, which was presented by Folsom Bikes. Team mate Kesler Jared(Folsom Bikes) was second place and James Williams(Adventures Edge) of Arcata was third overall in the Men's Elite group.
Ellen Sherrill showed why she is ranked #1 in the NCNCA BAR Cross competition for 2012 riding to a convincing victory at El Dorado Hills CX in the Women's Elite division. Katie Melena((Bicycle Blue Book/HRS/Rock Lobster) and Vicky Sama(Adventures Edge) made up the rest of the podium on a extra hot day for Cross near Sacramento.
